PRE-KINDERGARTEN VILLAGE
Join us on Sunday, January 31, 2010 for our Open House and Application Day for the 2010-2011 school year! We welcome all inquiring families to attend our 9:30 am Mass to be followed by visits to the classrooms from 10:30 to noon. At this time, applications for the 2010 school year will become available.

St. Mary Pre-Kindergarten Program
Our program is dedicated to educating
the whole child in a
warm and caring atmosphere.
Hours are Monday through Friday
from 8:15 to 12:15.
The cost for 2009-2010 school year will be $520.00 a month
and is based on a ten month year.
Registration fee is $180.00
Your child must be 4 by September 1st.
Class size is limited to 15
and is staffed by a teacher and assistant.

With two children already enrolled at St. Mary's School in Walnut Creek, the Pre-K Program seemed like a natural fit for my third .. My already high expectations were greatly exceeded by the small class size of only 15 students, and the creative, hands-on learning program that combined basic learning with social skills in a fun context, orchestrated by two collaborative and highly enthusiastic teachers. My child left the Pre-K program extremely well prepared for Kindergarten, and continues to enjoy going to school. The only downside was trying to get her in the car at the end of the school day because she loved being in the Pre-K program so much.

I thought it was important to let you know how impressed my family was- 2 aunties and grandma, of the work they saw of Bella during the open house. Mrs. Schwartz and Koula are extremely creative and talented in their projects with the Pre- K kids. My family was so surprised to see so many different, ingenious pieces and could tell how much Bella was learning with her schooling at St Mary’s.
Bella and I toured all the classrooms and I know that with the Pre-K training, she will succeed and thrive throughout her 10 years at St Mary’s. I feel Mrs. Schwartz and Koula are instrumental in recruiting families to continue on at the school. And I hope that they will get an active board next year!

St. Mary’s Pre-K program has been a great experience for both of our children. Mrs. Schwartz and Koula provide such a loving and nurturing environment that both of our children experienced tremendous growth in the program. The well-balanced curriculum was very appropriate for our kids and kept them engaged and enthusiastic about learning. The Pre-K program is a great option that we highly recommend for four and five year old children!
